In Barrosas, a small village in the Municipality of Felgueiras, we found an excellent investment in this vineyard with the production of grapes destined for wines suitable for DO VINHO VERDE and/or IG MINHO This vineyard, made up of several varieties – white and red – and with authorization to produce 11,745 kg of grapes for DOC Vinho Verde, in a total registered area of 11,010 m2, is in full operation.

The Vinhos Verdes, very characteristic of the northwest region of Portugal, are especially acidic, but with an intense flavor and depending on the indigenous blended casatas, preserving their typical aromas and flavors that are so different worldwide.

The reds have an intense red color and, sometimes, pink or bright red foam, a vinous aroma.

In the mouth they are fresh and intense, very gastronomic, ideal to accompany regional dishes, especially meats and roasts.
The name Vinhos Verdes is characterized by the natural landscape of the region itself, with hills and mountains that remain green until very close to winter, acquiring a golden brown color afterwards, so characteristic of northern landscapes in the middle of winter.
